Amy was great to work with from start to finish! While the weather was a bit iffy that day, Amy was in continuous contact with us and we made a decision to go for it. So glad we did!
The photographs came out phenomenal! She was wonderful with the boys and captured their smiles. Amy was very accommodating and was willing to meet us at our destination, our family farm. She has a great eye and pulled the family and surroundings in to make that picture perfect shot!

Amy has been photographing our family since March of 2010, when we met for my maternity shoot for my third baby. Right away I knew I had met someone very special and that we would have a long relationship of photography together.

We have had Amy photograph our family 4 times since that first meeting and are anticipating our fifth shoot in another week.   My kids love our time with "Miss Amy" and have really gotten comfortable with her.  It is a much more pleasurable experience getting the family photographed with Amy as opposed to the photo shops in department stores and such, where the next customer is breathing down your neck and you have 15 minutes to get the picture done! Which results in photos that truly capture each of our kids' personalities as well as the feel of our family.

I would recommend Amy to anyone looking for a talented, patient photographer to capture special moments for your family!

My family and I had an amazing experience with Amy.  This was our first "family" photo shoot and despite our camera-shy one year old, Amy was able to capture some very tender moments.
We had our photo shoot at Roger Williams Park and Amy picked the perfect spot!  We had many backgrounds to choose from and the poses she chose worked great for us as well, as the candid shots of my girls playing together and having fun.  Amy was very professional and rolled with the punches very well!  I could not have asked for a better experience and will be booking our next photo shoot again soon.

Hi Amy!
Hope that you and your family had a wonderful holiday.  I wanted to tell you what a hit the pictures and DVD were at Christmas.  I used some for our Christmas card and have gotten many, many compliments on that as well.  I also gave some to my family and our in-laws in frames as presents. 



I saved the pictures of Brendan and I as a present for my husband and he was really, really happy with them.  They are so special.

Hey Amy!  I just wanted to let you know how much fun Dylan and I had the other day at Wickford Beach.  I knew getting his pictures done at the beach would be nice, but you really made it fun!  You can tell you have children of your own.  You really knew how to talk to my son and give him direction.  You took your time and made us both relax, which is not an easy feat!  After looking at the pictures, I was so happy.  I just have past memories of waiting in long lines at some photo place, getting our pics taken by a teenager, and then feeling hurried to pick the ones we want and trying to pick out packages.  What a nightmare!  The best part was that you picked the best pictures for me and even made the appropriate ones black and white.  I am always running around or working and don't have time for much.  So, thanks again, for making our experience super easy and fun.  I will absolutely be calling you again.  -Karen G.

A beach photo shoot -- the pictures are gorgeous if you can get a good one, but with the sea, sun, sand and surf as huge obstacles, getting a perfect or at least a half-way decent family photo, is a huge feat.  We were up for the challenge!  My husband and I were apprehensive from the start but Amy turned it all around as soon as we started the shoot.  Once we got to the beach, Amy took right over and the dread just melted away.  Amy already had some ideas for the family pictures and after some of the formal shots were over with, we got to have some fun on the beach and she took some amazing candids.  I really appreciated the thought Amy put into the photo shoot before we started and knew what would work. Our beach photo shoot with Amy was gorgeous...even with the sun, the surf and the sand.  It ended up being a fun day at the beach and Amy took some fantastic pictures we'll always treasure.  Thank you, Amy.

Our experience with Amy was phenomenal! We had the pleasure of working with Amy at Roger Williams Park in Providence, RI. This was our first time taking formal pictures of our son, Connor. Our vision was that he would be photographed doing “kid things” like running around, throwing a ball, and exploring the park. This is exactly what Amy captured! She was able to get him to sit and smile, play peak-a-boo and even go for a piggy-back ride on my husband's back. The location Amy chose was perfect as there was plenty of space for Connor to run around and be a kid! Amy was professional, kind and mostly importantly (for us moms and dads) she was flexible! Her prices are very reasonable and she is willing to meet any day of the week, at any time. I would highly recommend Amy to photograph you and your family! She truly is a pleasure to work with!

Amy did a great job photographing my girls.  I have had the store photo experience in the past but the relaxed photo shoot with Amy was so much nicer... and we got to be outside and it was a lot less stressful.  One of my girls was not being very cooperative that day, and yet Amy still managed to capture some beautiful shots of her.  She took tons of pictures that I was able to order at a very reasonable price online, any size, versus the in-store photo's that are very costly per sheet.  I can't wait to have Amy work with us again as my girls grow.  Thanks Amy!!

I wanted to get a family portrait done but the thought planning a date and finding a place was a drag.  I didn't want to go to a studio where things can be uptight and rushed.  Also, having a 3.5 year old and a 8 month old, I knew timing was everything for a good photo shoot.  Before I booked a sitting, I talked to my friend Amy who was just starting a photo business in Rhode Island.  Amy offered us a photo shoot at her house whenever it was convenient for us.  We decided on a good afternoon to do the shoot and, in a word, it was AMAZING.  Amy took many photos in many different poses and settings most of which turned out great.  We stayed very relaxed and were able to take breaks to regroup, change clothes, fix hair ... it was truly a great experience!   It was a positive experience for all of us.  Amy is very professional and skilled with the camera.   I am looking forward to our next photo session.  Thank you Amy!

Amy truly has a talent for capturing the perfect picture!  She has worked with my family on two different occasions and we were extremely pleased with the photos, and her, both times.  I have two children and she was incredibly patient with them, and treated them like little gems! She had great ideas for the posed pictures and a great eye for the candid shots.   

Having children involved in a photo shoot is never an easy feat, but Amy was so relaxed and easy going that it made the experience so much more enjoyable!  She took her time and never made us feel rushed.  I love that Amy was willing to take the photos at the location of our choice.  

I really wish Amy still lived in Michigan so I could continue to give her my business.

My experience with Amy and RitzyPics has always exceeded my expectations.  Studio pictures are never natural and I want my kids' personalities and the dynamic of my family to come out.  Amy provided all of this and more.  Amy came to our house several times to photograph our family and it was such a relaxed setting, not rushed at all!  Amy came to our home when our youngest daughter was born and snapped pictures of our family together ... in my living room ... and they were beautiful and are treasured.  On our last photo shoot before Amy left Michigan we went to a local park and she just had us be ourselves. The pictures were natural, fun, colorful and we got them all!!  We didn't have to choose just one pose!  No hassle, no fuss -- she is great.  I miss her!
