A Little About Me --
I am a Wife.  A Mom.  A Photographer.
I was born in Massachusetts and grew up in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.  I graduated from the University of NH and have a Masters of Teaching & English.  I have lived in MA, NH, San Diego, Puget Sound, WA, Michigan & have recently returned to New England after many years away exploring the country and reside in the Ocean State with my hardworking hubby, two adorable & smart boys, 2 cats, 1 dog and 1 lizard.

I started to seriously pursue photography by feeling the need to preserve all the "firsts" of of my children and the every-day moments in between.  I realized how fast time passes and I wanted to capture moments that might otherwise have passed me by and been forgotten without the click of the camera. .... and between moving from the west coast to the mid west to the east coast and with wonderful, supportive friends and family it has evolved into RitzyPics.  Photography has allowed me to be creative, adventurous, silly, crawl around  gardens at Roger Williams Park and get soaked and full of sand on the beaches Narragansett ... and capture moments and memories for you family.

I do not photoshop my images, so please do not ask me to make you look 20 pounds lighter ... I gently edit to bring out the best of the photo.    What you see is pretty much what you get -- your real selves & family.  I prefer natural light but will break out my external flash if needed.  

I am located outside of Providence, RI and am willing to travel to Southern Massachusetts and throughout the Ocean State .... there are so many wonderful & beautiful places throughout New England that I would love to photograph you at your favorite location.  Just ask and I will be there!
